Presentation by Geir Dale
‘Conflict dynamics and IoPT group facilitation: What may be hiding in the details of communication, and how can we make it healthy (again?)‘.

Geir Dale, is an IoPT Psychotrauma Therapist (member of the Norwegian Trauma Therapist Association), Gestalt Therapist and Political Scientist. Geir has specialized himself in resolving psychological trauma, conflicts and strains. He has over 22 years of experience as a psychotherapist and got since 2008 interested in the work of Franz Ruppert.
In his presentation Geir shared his understanding about conflict dynamics and IoPT group facilitation and he will dive deeper into the question ‘what may be hiding in the details of communication, and how can we make it healthy (again)?’
On his website Geir shares: “The starting point for conflict management is the belief that everyone in the company wants to thrive with their colleagues, and everyone needs psychological safety to succeed in learning and developing. Conflicts are resolved by all colleagues together learning new, more appropriate forms of interaction and communication, and developing to take full responsibility for themselves in the work community. I have 25 years of experience working with conflict management in public and private enterprises in Norway and internationally. I take my point of departure in psychologist Jan Atle Andersen’s method (see his book “Folk manners and custom at work”)”.
